Here a vintage reading lamp I got from a yard sale for $1 last weekend. It has a Circle F socket and a Leviton cord. I believe it was made by Moviette.

There was a GE 40 W bulb in this but it burned out when I plugged in. So I got a new bulb for it which is 25 W bulb. This takes S11 bulbs.

Very nice! I have a GE E17 socket with an unknown cord possibly Leviton. See here.

Power provider: Southern California Edison (SCE)

-Date decoder of some US lamps 1960-present.
-Switch and receptacle collector.
-I'll save any vintage lamp! Smiley

I have one although I am not sure of the brand. The shade on mine is conical instead of spherical like yours. What I don't like about it is the shade gets burning hot with use. For that reason, I might consider getting a LED lamp for it although I don't really use it at the moment.

Interesting, looks like it may have been mounted to furniture or something.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.

This gets quite hot too, even though, I only put a 25W to replace it. 40W would be a lot for a little lamp. I thought too, of an LED but I didn't see any of this size, and I wanted to keep it original as incandescent.

Also we have a GE undercabinet radio and it uses a GE 40W bulb with same base for the countertop light.

Neat light, but to me that just screams "burn your house down while you sleep."
