Basking in the groovy glow of Powergroove lamps. These are running at full power on a VHO ballast. The lamp on the right started up orange-purple this time around.

It would be interesting to see a 8 foot powergroove being operated on a 175w MV ballast using a 80w-225w tanning bed starter.

Say NO to ballast and bulb bans. MV, MH, HPS, and SOX forever!!!! Magnetic preheat fluorescent forever!!!!!

Desire to collect various light bulbs (especially HID), ballasts, and fixtures from around the world.

Somehow I missed this when it was posted back in 2012
Sad that J-Frog is no longer with us.
