T8 lamps in a T12 fixture - flash pattern of preceived flicker

This is the flash pattern when the lamps appear to be flickering somewhat at a steady rate. I've also seen residental grade F40 ballasts do this with 34w lamps. The flicker appears to be caused by the double flash pattern seen here.

HPF ballast running T8's, it looks like. lol

Interests:
1. Motorcycles, cars, Women, and Lighting (especially fluorescent)
2. Weightlifting/staying extremely athletic
3. Severe Thunderstorms of all kinds
4. Food and drinks. So gimme them bbq ribs

Yeah, at a Fry's in Campbell, CA. Someone stuck T8s in these T12 fixtures in the bathroom, one fixture did have T12s and it looked better than all the flickery T8s stuck in all the rest of the fixtures.
