Ugly CFLs.

Ugly CFLs.

See? I'm guilty of using ugly spiral CFLs in good looking fixtures. Well I did it again with the back porch lights. The shock absorbing feature of the door closer for the glass door failed making the door SLAM so hard it popped the two incandescent buglights. Horrible in winter but they're temp lights so my dad won't get into my collection. Need to fix the door closer mechanism. Then I'll buy new lamps. Filament LEDs probably should any in yellow at 75w+ equivalent exist.

The pic was taken in 2007 or 2009.

I think it would be better if it has these lamp shades to cover the glare of these CFLs bulbs

Pretty, please no more Chinese failure.
