Westinghouse Ceramalux 70 watt HPS lamp I found on eBay. This is a beautiful, well constructed HPS lamp! Not a single rattle comes from it and looks quite sturdy with the double arc tube support

Interesting. Probably from the same seller, I seen a lot of these of 5, another for 3 and one for just a single lamp. I paid only $5 bucks for the lamp, not including shipping

Is the listing still up? I'd like to maybe get one.

No alto. This was about 20 years before Ceramalux lamps started growing green mold

I'm pretty sure he's referring to the Ebay listing, titling these lamps as Philips altos.

Nice! I have a similar Canadian model lamp, it's a later model so it's branded as a Philips but it's still BT25.

Yeah some Ebay sellers are really uneducated about the things they sell. Obviously they're only selling them for the money and not because they care about keeping the items out of the trash.

I bought one of these too on eBay. Just had to have one, because it's a Westinghouse, and a BT25 too boot.

Your mission - should you choose to accept it - is to save unique and rare HID lighting before it's all scrapped.
