Here you see a GE 20 amp (25 volt) 500 watt Airport Marker Light Lamp with G22 or Medium Bi-Post Base, this Lamp has Tungsten Collector Grid above the filament to help reduce the Bulb from blackening when in use, which can reduce visibility of the Ruway Light during use, These Lamps were used in the type MB-1 Runway Lights by the United Satate Air Force on Nuclear Airbases where the Runways are over 200 feet Wide,

This Lamp is pre 1960's as the Later versions were made in 503 watts, also according to the USAF Records Part Number MS-24321-1 became Inactive after 16th Febuary 1960. followed by MS-24321-2 20A 502W Lamp became Inactive by 14th June 1961, followed by MS-24321-3 20A 499W Lamp became Inactive by 26th March 1963, and these Lamps are currently Listed as MS-24321-4 20A 503W.
