And since you asked it appears to be also of interest what in fact this was: The word can be translated as "truss assembly site". What they did was preassembling sleepers and rails to pieces of railway track, called a Joch. These pieces have been delivered to construction sites on special cars and, with a special crane, laid out onto the ballast bed.

It can be just barely made out on the aerial image where the assembly area was. Now it is in such a condition that the ordinary vandal will not consider entering, which was a good thing for the lamps... (by the way, it would be another question if they are not badly faded) The still active yard (for the quarry to the northeast) of course hides it further from unassuming people.
