I found 5 of these at a wholesale store. They have a nice snap to them.

Very nice! This looks exactly like the one in my grandparents' bathroom except theirs has no plaster ears.

The older snap switches and mercury switches were very well made. I find the "quiet" style switches are usually of lesser quality.

Please check out my newly-updated website! McCann Lighting Company is where my street light collection is displayed in detail.

Agreed! Except for older styles of quiet switches like Eagle's well-designed proprietary mechanism that is unfortunately out of production.

Yes to quiet switches being of lower quality. I know some of you might cringe but I replaced all 7 switches in the small apartment with Levition 5601 Decora paddle switches I choose white because the walls are painted white also. The old switches were 3 Circle F 1 Eagle and 3 Leviton the 3 Leviton were newer replacements probably failed Circle F ones as all of the wiring devices I removed so far have been Circle F or Bryant (for the 20A receptacle circuits)

LED Free Zone!
All For HID, magnetic rapid-start Preheat & old-school electronic Only (no instant start F17T8 & F32T8 allowed)
