I picked these up today for free with some older shop lights. They are my first F96 Chroma 50 bulbs. They do work.

Very cool find. Nothing beats the GE etch. I have to admit, the only chroma 50 I've ever owned was a Philips from 1995. Not sure what I did with it however. 😑

Very nice finds. March 1989 for the top two (I believe - and assuming the other one with a mostly rubbed off etch has the same date code) and August 1991 for the bottom two.

Good quality things are awesome. Bad quality things are not.

I did not know they came in 8 foot as well. Someone had some older shop lights listed online for scrap, so I went to get them. The person asked me if I wanted the bulbs too, so I said sure. The bulbs made the trip worth it.

I have some Sylvania D50 slimelines and it was fairly recent purcahase in building supply store.

No LED gadgets, spins too slowly.  Gotta  love preheat and MV. let the lights keep my meter spinning.
