SOX O'Lantern

SOX O'Lantern

I wanted to do this last year already but couldn't find a suitable pumpkin but this year I got one.

It's a pumpkin lit by a SOX-E lamp (Low Pressure Sodium) of 18 watts.
A real eyecatch to see in person. Easily the brightest pumpkin far and wide.

Unusual to see a sodium lighted halloween pumpkin doll (And dolls generally).

I"m don't speak English well, and rely on online translating to write in this site.
Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.

I only working with the European date format (dd.mm.yyyy).

I lives in Israel, which is a 230-240V, 50hz country.

I love it! We just put a candle in ours - but next year - watch out! Very creative, well done!

Thanks a lot guys!
Last year I had this idea and just knew it would look awesome, and I was right – it looks creepy.

By the way, there's another benefit about using a SOX lamp instead of a candle: you don't burn the top of the pumpkin anymore.

Incredible! I never would have thought to wire a jack-o-lantern up to a lamp, let alone a LPS/SOX! Imagine a big enough pumpkin with a 400W HPS/SON lamp inside? You could place a pie pan in the top opening of the jack-o-lantern and cook a pumkpin pie made from the guts of the pumpkin.

To resist is to piss in the wind, anyone who does will end up smelling.
