There are already loads of these on this site but just had to have one of these early icons myself. The Philips MA50 135W SOX lantern won a Design Council Award in 1975 and became a very popular fitting. This one has remote gear.

Nice! LPS lamps are very uncommon in my area.

I like all kinds of lighting and electrical, especially HIDs and street lights!
-  neon sign collector
- vintage and rare lamp collector
Power company: SCE (Southern California Edison) 120V, 60HZ
Westinghouse Lifeguard will always be my favorite lamp
Gotta love vintage HIDs!

Becoming rare everywhere now SOX lamps are being phased out.

That's why we must preserve all we can. We only need two to complete the full range of SOX now, a 10W and a 131W SOX-E.

As for the rest of the LPS family, we have a 60W SO/H and a 45W SOI/H, but I doubt we'll ever get the full range of those. As for the linear ones, we have a 140W, the 200W ones are still around, so we'll probably get one of those sometime soon, but the 60W one is going to be hard to find.
