My Osram HQI-TS 70W/WDL Excellence, exhibits such a glow, in my tracklight, before it hot restrike on the Philips PrimaVision PV C 70 /S CDM electronic ballast . In my tracklight, the glow appears continuously, as the ballast don't pauses between pulse cycles. In your Parmar anti-cycle ignitor, is this glow appears continuously, or it appears for several seconds and than disappears for several time, and than appears again.

Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.

I only working with the European date format (dd.mm.yyyy).

I hope that LED won't replace all forms of other light

It's continuous and sound like its pulsing at 5 or so pulses a second producing wispy tracks in the arc tube from one end.

This glow coming from the mercury vapor. The lamp is still hot for the argon to be ionized. Corona discharge often have different spectral properties than other types of discharge in the same fluid.
