open frame assembly for 60W Linear Sodium

GEC 60W SLI/H at start-up. The lamps is held in a self-contained frame with the ballast and starter mounted to it for demonstration purposes. Seen here with a 65W fluorescent ballast as this neatly fits under the lamp. I think it is a bit under powered and could probably do with an 80W mercury ballast but runs up fine.

Envy, envy... would love one of those, there is a guy on eBay who had some but he wanted silly money, £95 plus postage was a tad out of my price range

He had 2, someone's bought them. He wanted about £150 for a 45W SO/H as well, which I thought was really OTT

Beautiful. I don't think we had SLI lamps in Australia, only SOX.
