Spotted these on a recent walk along the waterfront and old docks in Birkenhead.
The section of the Wirral Circular trail between Woodside and Seacombe was renovated and made nice years ago but a couple of decades of pure neglect by the local council has left the place overgrown, vandalised and very sad looking.

This is how bad some have become! Others have lost either the top, bottom or both sections of the globe. Probably haven't worked this side of 2000...
That's quite a lot of water and sh!t built up!
