I discovered this beast a few weeks ago hanging over a pedestrian walkway at a hardware complex. There are three of these that are attached to this wall that illuminate the way. Unfortunately my camera battery went flat after this photo so I was unable to get a photo of the lamp inside but it's definitely 400watt and is an elliptical lamp, so I'm assuming it's MV. As this place is where I was holidaying I was unable to drive past at night. You can get a fair indication of high this thing is 'off the ground' by looking at the roadway gutter in the lower right hand side of the photo.

Lol, reminds me of old Mobil petrol stations here, they used to have high wattage circle MV fittings on poles about 4ft high dotted on the entry's and exits
