"Head" should read, "Hard". Bit hard to alter it when it is part of the picture itself.

Note the reflections on the left hand side contaminating the image...in this case that part of the image contains no spectrum, so it does not matter much.

The camera is zoomed right in (max telephoto) to resolve the images as best as possible, the camera needs to be held very steady with respect to the monochromator....this is the purpose of the Pringles can in the Pringles Can spectroscope...by locking the camera mechanically to the monochromator and slit better spectra can be obtained with long exposures and long telephoto shots.
