Nice repair job .. I've heard its possible to do that. But not so easily done?

If they were mine I probably woulda considered them shot & junked them like the original owner did

It was easier than I expected, I didn't encounter any issues. I did skip a step though because youre supposed to remove the dust caps to insert shims into the voice coil to make sure its balanced but I didn't do that because it would ruin the caps and the look. I just had the speakers removed and sat on my desk magnet down and I glued the rims on the cone part first and let it dry then I glued the outer pet of the rim to the basket while pressing the dust cap lightly to make sure it is not rubbing. Once satisfied i let dry. They sound really good so I'm happy I took the chance!

The kit came from ebay, it came with the 4 foams and a glue as well as shims and a instruction booklet

Nice speakers and nice work! They look like they sound good! I've refoamed a few pairs of speakers myself.

I like my lamps thick, my ballasts heavy, and my fixtures tough.
