Mesko OUR-125 with newly produced cheap MV lamps versus Philips MV lamps

Mesko OUR-125 with newly produced cheap MV lamps versus Philips MV lamps

Click to view full size image

Comparison of bona fide Philips corrected MV lamps and cheap junky MV lamps that falsely advertise as an equal replacement. They visually look like corrected MV lamps but after turning on the truth comes out of the box as the supposed phosphor coating turns out to be only a diffusion coating. It doesn't add any red to the spectrum which simply is the same as in uncorrected lamps without any coating. Light from Philips lamps is nice soft white light, much more pleasant.

As a scene to look at I like it too. Simply this is very unusual in Europe where uncorrected lamps are a rarity compared to the US.
