5 footer haul 2019 05 19

The all 5 footer haul. In the haul many SLZ NOS LDC F80T12 tubes, many Razno used LB F65T12 tubes, many NOS SELZ LB and LD HO F80T12 tubes. In the picture the tubes are already washed and cleaned and sitting the air to dry out outside. Since the summer is already here in Lithuania, I can finally wash my new tubes outside on the spacious outside sink where I can just dunk the tubes under a faucet and clean them under a running hot water (yes, I have a boiler for outside faucets that use well water)

you don't say.. it feel so good to be able to come into a big room with many tubes in it, and the roomlord lets you dig right into it and you can take whatever you want

New lighting technologies is a pity fest everywhere you look. From LEDs that last only for two months, to a never-ending global starvation of t8 fluorescent tubes.
We shall reinforce ourselves with good old full mercury t12s and HIDs made to surpass one's life, and give them all the middle finger ;

LDC is that Lithuanian made brand?? Razno I know, full of mercury, russian made quality!

Hello there!
LDC means the color temperature of the fluorescent tube that was a normal code marking in soviet union, in this case, LDC means Daylight DeLuxe or Full spectrum 5500k color spectrum. LD means Daylight at 7500k and LB means natural light at 3500k Lithuania has never had ,manufacturers that were manufacturing fluorescent tubes.

PS
Razno is *not* a company. Razno was just an export brand that specialized in exporting lighting equipment to other soviet and not soviet countries. Basically, if there was a demand for Fluorescent tubes for example, the business mans responsible for the lamp trade gave orders to whatever tube factory that was not very busy at the given time and date, and it asked for a special amount of tubes to be manufactured and labeled NOT with the factories respective logo and brand name, but with Razno (or Oreol, or Poltex, or any western-sounding export name) label,witch meant that these tubes are up for export. It could have been any factory in soviet union, The Smolensk lamp manufacturing plant with name SLZ could have been ordered to make the tubes, or Ukraine's Poltava gas discharge lamp manufacturing plant PZGRL with lemon logo could have been ordered to manufacture the tubes. And they all had dyes to print out Razno or any other export brand name.

New lighting technologies is a pity fest everywhere you look. From LEDs that last only for two months, to a never-ending global starvation of t8 fluorescent tubes.
We shall reinforce ourselves with good old full mercury t12s and HIDs made to surpass one's life, and give them all the middle finger ;
