Did it leak? Looks like the sodium escaped the arc tube and caused that black coating.

I like all kinds of lighting and electrical, especially HIDs and street lights!

Perfect lighting related mirror! That’s a new use for leaking HPS.

Yeah this one is pretty dead, the ignitor just kept kicking it when i tried it in a fixture. A shame but not really surprising given the state it's in..

Sorry for the late reply!

These lamps were part of a joblot of bulbs and other street light bits that I got on ebay about a year ago.

After doing some clearing out I found these again, and realised that I hadn't posted any pics of them on here. That has since been rectified
