Some of them are such plonkers they would not be able to tell the difference between High Pressure Sodium and Metal Halide....hiss loss (due ti his ignorance) and your gain, good score!

If they are S56 150W, then they indeed can take MH lamps...Which is the case in most of the 240V/50Hz hemisphere. He might have read it on some non US forum, and never know that it does not work that way with S55
