2 X 20W adapter

Picked up a couple more adapters, two of the same fixture. These are a little different from what I've seen before. They have stamped sheet metal end caps and the sockets are just a couple pins in a phenolic? board.

Gotta love old school reliability, these things fired right up. They have been in an apartment in an old downtown building that is being torn down. Building has been empty for the last 20 years and the roof was leaking to the point that the floor was collapsing in spots. The socket that the adapter was attached to is rusty to the point that it cracked in a few places and I had to use pliers to get the adapter loose. The adapter is in pretty good shape though with only a little rust staining.

Nice save! How many did you save? That GE lamp is 60's vintage.

Power provider: Southern California Edison (SCE)

- I collect whatever I can.
- Here to work, here to serve, here to save.

Just two of these from the 2nd floor apartments. Also got two 8' industrial's in F96T12. Was hoping to find some older 4' stuff but didn't see any. I didn't crawl down in basement though, to much junk tossed in the stairway and the sketchy foors, so who knows what was down there.
