2 generations of Siemens Stora Sioptal

Here is my 2 different Stora Sioptal. The old one above has a reflector for E bulbs and the ignitor is placed in the bulb compartment. The new one has a T bulb and the entire gear is places on the lid of the gear compartment. Both of them are 250w

Hi !

Is it a question of generations ? The yellow labelled one seems to have an electrical equipment block smaller than the red labelled one.

I have also pictured another version where the bloc is longer.

Yes it is 2 different generations. Yes the old one has a smaller gear box and that is why the ignitor are placed in the bulb compartment. It is same with the Lilla sioptal from this generation, but it uses internal ignited bulbs
