Interesting attempt to push another product variant:

"Why do you purchase clear glass lamps? Frosted Osram lamps are cheaper and give better light, also in fixtures of frosted glass. The inside frosting causes almost no loss of light."

The frosting of a lamp is an additional process applied during the manufacture of the lamp so in theory frosted lamps should cost more to make than clear ones.
The higher wattage clear lamps are more useful in fittings or chandeliers with decorative glass where clear lamps make the glass sparkle.
Lower wattage clear lamps are more useful as indicator or warning lights as they have an intensity that pearl lamps do not making them more visible from a distance.
