These used to be HPS but were retrofitted to LED.

Old lighting is, and will always be, the best lighting.

Yep, and most likely they'd have been 150W max, if that.

Your mission - should you choose to except it - is to save unique and rare HID lighting before it's all scrapped.

Actually using a low wattage LED corn (<200W), I think few years ago the fixture uses a HPS. What happened with the ballast? The LED lamp are killing the ballast or other circuits?
