I had some of these in an old floor lamp, they seem to like to come loose from the base for no apparent reason !

Most of these GE flame bulbs are made in China, but there's a chance this one might be one of the earlier USA made versions due to the etch on the bottom of the base.

Philips DuraMax and GE Miser forever!  Classic incandescents are the best incandescents!
