I got this lamp at Home Depot yesterday since they marked down more to $5. Seems decent made. Also it is the Alto even though the box doesen't say so.

Now unlike the older ones, this has no green dimple, the etch is green instead.

I like those ones with the green arc-tube support bracket, I don't really like Altos but I do like that green thingy but I dislike the green end caps on their fluorescent tubes.

I do too, I wish they still had that green dimple, instead of just a green etch. The GE Lucalox HPS lamps have a green ring around the dimple. I have one of each. Although, I do like the green end caps on the Alto fluorescent tubes, I think they look cool, and distinctive.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.

I prefer fluorescent tubes with black end caps although I have never seen a T8 tube with black end caps before only silver or green for those Alto ones

I like this shape in which the bottom of the bulb has the same diameter as the thread, here in Brazil this is extremely rare. Unfortunately
