It's a Pass and Seymour GFCI.

Don't be fooLED, T8 IS the worst thing to do to a magnetic T12 fixture.

It's not on the inside. If it was, you'd need to remove the cover to see it. The location of this GFCI is not a violation. Often times when we install a new panel in an old house (service upgrade or they need the panel changed to a larger one) we will install an offset nipple between the panel and a 4-square box and install the panel plug right there. When we do that the GFCI ends up on its own breaker.

Please check out my newly-updated website! McCann Lighting Company is where my street light collection is displayed in detail.

So the electrician here killed 2 birds with one stone by installing this here where there needed to be a plug and to protect the post lights in my yard and the pool lights.
