Nice finds! I don't get why they still make new GFCIs with the red and black buttons though. I would think people would rather use ones with buttons that match the device. There's no price difference either!

Please check out my newly-updated website! McCann Lighting Company is where my street light collection is displayed in detail.

The bottom outlet on the GFCI looks discolored.

Old lighting is, and will always be, the best lighting.

Nice finds! My school has the same Leviton GFCIs but with neon indicators that go out if tripped. Does anything have marble patterns?

The Eagle ivory single pole has a marble pattern.

Don't be fooLED, T8 IS the worst thing to do to a magnetic T12 fixture.

Unfortunately the GFCI is defective because it takes over half a second to trip.

It looks used after all. That reminds me, I still need to test my P&S and Slater GFCIs.

Tested both, and they work great! Neither have a light or hidden light.

I think the previous owner of that GFCI may have overloaded or overheated it as the bottom outlet looks like it got discolored from heat.

Also, how do you know the GFCI is post-1985?

Cole D. told me that they came out with that style in 1985.

How many early GFCIs do you have?

I just have those two, the P&S and Slater. Don't think they're early, just older.

The P&S I believe is 1990's vintage. The Slater is 1980's vintage.

Unfortunately the GFCI is defective because it takes over half a second to trip.

Actually, it seems to work now.
