I just got these off eBay. They have a very hard snap! Some of them have the F on the toggle but some don't.

Interestingly, these come with bags of 2 6/32 screws instead of having them captive on paper washers.

I can pay a friend of mine to do it. These are quite rare so I think I can do that route

Nice! The circle F toggles I got from this seller all had the logo on the tip of the toggle, but some had the "serif" font "F" like above and some had the "sans-serif" font (sans serif meaning just a plain "F" without the decorative flares on the ends).

I have seen your picture of the single pole Circle F switches and I like the ones with the serif font better. Are the sans-serif F's also italic?

I forget if they're italicized or not. I don't think so... I'd say anything with a porcelain back with plastic toggle is probably 1940s vintage.

Nice! If that's true than these are by far the oldest switches in my collection!

Yeah definitely nice additions to the collection! At the very newest these are from the 1950s but I'm leaning more towards 40s.

Did Circle F put datecodes on their switches?

Hmm on the metal or the back of the case? I've never noticed any date codes on my Circle F switches. I'll have to look again.
