Can these explode?

Don't be fooLED, T8 IS the worst thing to do to a magnetic T12 fixture.

Good question.. I have these lamps in use! But so far no explosions just cycling and color shifts. But only time will tell I guess...

Next stop gate T17!

I just got one of these from a Restore today. The only difference is that mine was made in Feb 2018.

That's a universal burning lamp so you SHOULD be fine, you never know though.

I’ve never had one explode in my cooper bandits Like Youres - They Just die prematurely due to excessive heat build up inside the fixture with that big ballast!

Because that fixture is now remote ballasted 50W mercury vapor, would it be safe to use a reflector and socket from a motion sensor light for this bulb?
