Bought these recently off Ebay, they came in very plain boxes. There were 5 but one had lost vacuum. I don't know anything about the Croze brand. (edit: eventually taken over by Girard Sudron) These lamps are really tiny!

This is still a CFL- and LED-free zone!

Croze was a manufacturer taken over by Girard Sudron. Both are french. The name Marly refers to the lamp model. There used to be also a Versailles version. Nowadays Girard Sudron produces these lamps in a filament LED version. Not the same but close to be acceptable.

Many thanks for this information! I do have a couple of (EOL) G.S. lamps I found whilst on holiday in France.

You are most welcome. Have a glimpse on my gallery for my G.S. lamps in almost constant use.
BTW Girard Sudron also took over an italian manufacturer known for his fancy designs. Neoplamp even hat a cube shaped lamp and very nice bent tipped candles. I have posted pics of the latter somewhere.
Final remark: I loathe CFLs. I try hard to get familiar with LED however I still fail in doing so.
