Lampways 250w clear IR lamp - Japanese made

I wonder who made this, Lampways was the sort of company that brands lamps but buys them from other large manufacturers. Perhaps the font might give it away? The lamp still works, I found it (in a very dusty state!) this morning for 50p at the local Car Boot sale.

Wow, that's a bargain..! Made in Japan, well that will narrow it down a bit, but I'm not sure, incandescent lamps aren't my speciality.

Nice lamp and deal you got, and like sox35, incandescents are not my specialty.

Good quality things are awesome. Cheaply made things are not.

I've guessing more like your interest. Incandescent lamps are the most simple technology in the electric lighting, so it isn't interests me. I mostly interested in HID lamps, mainly HPS and MH.

I"m don't speak English well, and rely on online translating to write in this site.
Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.

I only working with the European date format (dd.mm.yyyy).

Indeed, discharge lamps are my main interest, specifically LPS. But I do have a large collection of incandescent lamps and I do take an interest. But the details are not foremost in my memory.
