Looks like a Cooper/Eagle spec grade switch and it appears to be in a bucket?

Good quality things are awesome. Cheaply made things are not.

- Mostly a light collector, but I collect anything else that interests me
- Power company: Southern California Edison (SCE)

don't worry it's safe. the which is actually in a junction box. The switch controls 4 outlets in the extension cord is plugged into one. Yes I did have to cut the Extension cord to put it through that little hole but I made sure to wire it back up correctly and safely. I've been taught by a licensed electrician.

I am 12 years old and I love to collect lights.

now probably suffering from the Westinghouse lifeguard disease!!!

yep it's in a bucket. I put it in a bucket so water won't get into the switch. Water and electricity don't mix, but of course you know that

I've done stuff like this before. Granted I usually use the heavy duty outdoor cast aluminum boxes and either metal cover plates for dry locations, or a weatherproof switch plate for wet locations.
