Maybe I should pop out a jar full of miniature push-in bulbs to find the long tubular version bulbs

Pretty, please no more Chinese failure.

I received this set as a Christmas gift some years ago. I haven't used them for a few years as they are too big for the smaller Christmas tree I put up now. So far I haven't needed to use any of the spare bulbs but spares are probably difficult to find.

I also have a set using this sort of bulbs, but placed inside C7 shaped colored glass ornaments. It came to me as a used set, and already has a number of bad bulbs, so I will probably relamp it. Occasionally, Chinese made also shorter-than-standard lamps, I have them on some "Snowball" shaped 100-lamp sets, and they are equally hard to find. Who would say bulbs with just a little bit shorter or longer glass can be so rare...

In my travels I have never seen another set of these for sale.
