Heres an Indonesian made GE circline near EOL. It actually resembles the older, U.S made GEs as far as the end bands and bluish glow. Its running on a 40 watt preheat LPF ballast. This has been in this fixture for over 5 years, running 24 hours 6 days a week.

That's pretty cool that part of the base cover is removed for better detail. I have a similar GE 32w in Daylight made in China operating with a NPF 30/40w RS ballast. It's been going 24/7 for easily over 5 years and has same end-banding but doesn't look close to eol yet.

As the lamp ages, I can see that the plastic base holder deteriates slightly as due to electrode heat and UV exposure. Never ben able to do that due to concern of damaging the tube and possibly exposing the chance of electrocution when running

I will give LEDisease a taste of my shoe
