Old Sylvania fixture Rock and Roll style :)

Old Sylvania fixture Rock and Roll style :)

Found this fixture on Dutch secondhands site. It's I think from the 50's because there is a S in the Sylvania Logo.
The 2x 20w ballasts are not original insite and from the company Craft. I thought I've seen somebody on this site with also the same fixture..
I was thinking it was a gold fixture but when I cleaned it it become very nice silver. It was all nicotine that came loose I think :)

Looks just like the ones in the USA.

I like my lamps thick, my ballasts heavy, and my fixtures tough.

@freekster0722 Yes good spotting. I've put them in. It came with a warm and cool white T8 bulb. One strarter was stuck, but working now again after a soft slam to the ground

@nicksfanls I've found the same one on eBay with google. Looks like it's compliantly the same. Think there where originally 110v ( or something ) ballast insite.

@Soxman, see if this works. I am not sure how to copy a direct link from the gallery on mobile.

@DieselNut, yes it works, what a beautiful fixture!!

I've sandblast my fixture now and give it new white paint because it was not so nice anymore and they have painted it at some spots early in the past. It looks great again now. Go build some 2x6volts heating transformers inside so I can use it in dimmed conditions above my stairway. For dimming it I use the 220v 3000watts Volt regulator on eBay. It works very good, I use it on my bathroom fixture and on 10 fixtures outside my house with F20W IRS lights from Sylvania.

I think the ballasts of your lamp are original ,because your lamp was made in belgium ,and the Craft ballasts are Belgian
