Can't find any info regarding its weight or the material used for the "candle" sockets.

The weight of the auditorium's central chandelier is well documented probably due to its "wow" factor. There are pics of it in this album.

It is illegal to use cellulose products...paper and cardboard, for electrical insulation in Australia, the sockets are probably ceramic and brass if they are old or molded urethrane resin of they are modern.

First time I clapped eyes in a paper insulated North American socket....I thought it was a toy!

Manufactured articles should be made to be used, not made to be sold!

Fee, Fye, Fow, Fum, A dead man's eye and a parrot's BUM!
