Is that Mercury flood lite yours as well?
The street lite looks to be a 113 series, I know of a few dayburning merc ones with drop lenses.

Nice. I wish I could have HID fixtures outside everywhere like this, but the yard is way too small for that.

Any machine is a smoke machine if you operate it wrong enough.

It bothers me every time I see a floodlight pointed straight out rather than 45 degrees towards the ground.

The cobrahead is a 115.

I might not always aim a flood at 45 degrees (I aim it at the center of the area I'm trying to light per general rule of thumb when installing flood lights) but I see countless floods installed on buildings shining sideways to light up a long parking lot or something and all it does is create a ton of glare. With a /DX MV lamp that won't be too bad. With a 1000W MH it's a freakin' eye sore though lol.

Please check out my newly-updated website! McCann Lighting Company is where my street light collection is displayed in detail.

The pole is too short to have the floodlight at 45 degrees It's more like 25 degrees. The glare is not that bad since it's a coated bulb. The insulators are for faux primary lines it's not completed yet.

The cobra head is still installed but the floodlight was removed and used elsewhere on the field.
