Looks like they have been there for a long time, which attests to their durability.

I've probably told this before, but when I was a kid there was a 400W MV Powr/Bracket fixture on the way to my school in front of a house, but it wasn't a dayburner. I don't remember if I first noticed it during the day or not, but one night my school had an event at night and I saw this fixture working at night. It had a greened bulb like these and I loved it. That fixture is actually still there but doesn't light at night. I wish there was some way I could get it if they removed it, I'd love to have it, because it was probably the first one that got me interested in HID lighting fixtures.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.

ironic that the lighting facility does not maintain their lighting better....
