I had some that did 40,000 hours before going EOL. In the other dual plant fixture ( my mother and I had African Violets and Christmas Cactus plants ) I replaced the GE lamps 2 times. Both were on a timer.

NNNN!

Interesting! I have a very well made little 2xF15 fixture that I got from my grandparents. My grandmother used to grow African Violets and Christmas Cactus also! She always used Daylight tubes in it though.
