I really like these solid little bulbs. I've had bad luck with many GE ceiling fan bulbs burning out quickly, so I am gradually replacing them all with Sylvanias as they burn out. These are some of the best fan bulbs on the market

Philips DuraMax and GE Miser forever!  Classic incandescents are the best incandescents!

Nice, I've had good luck with these and they can be used for many things. I'm sure the clear bulbs are a little bit brighter.
