Can't see the bi-metallic strip.

Nothing like the beautiful cool white light of a coated Mercury Vapor lamp and the soothing hum of it's magnetic ballast.

I guess I have the bulb in a position that the strip is hard to see. Indeed the strip is at the stem to the end of the filament on the right side.

Pretty, please no more Chinese failure.

Nice bulbs; I think the GE Merry twinkle bulbs are some of the best! I can kind of see the metal strip. I love the tinging sound they make when the bulb blinks!
