Really, made in China? What happened to the ones made in Poland? Our Philips EcoVantage halogen bulbs still come in from Mexico but some now come from India. Still have not seen one made in China, not counting the small decor ones.

May all the great lighting technologies have their place in history.

????, Yep Poland for this one, Other Halogens I have are Chinese such as the Diall's, Duracell's, TCP's and Possibly Sparkpack's, as well as the UK Supermarket Brands such as Asda's Morrison's and Tesco's, however the Tesco's look GE made, I also have Hyundai which are Korean.

TESCO are very notorious for sourcing lamps from GE and rebranding them as TESCO

Ace hardware here did that with GE lamps too, usually the incandescents were rejects from GE rebranded. Ace hardware is using Philips again though, like they did in the past!

Linear fluorescent will never lose to LED!
I am not Anti-LED, as I have some in use at my house.
