Shop Garage Lights

This is a photo of the shop garage at my house. I believe these lights are 400 watts each, but don't know a lot about them.

I'm jealous of your shop. Nice fan(s) too...they look like Envirofans. Quality stuff.

I like my lamps thick, my ballasts heavy, and my fixtures tough.

Thanks!! It was owned by a contractor previously, so I assume he had connections, or got the lights from another building.

Nice garage/shop!
How many cars will it fit?

Colored Fluorescent's such as F40T12 Red or  Green or Blue are awesome...

There are four doors, so four cars easily, but previous owner said you can squeeze 8 in. Plus there is a garage behind this one that can hold two, plus a three stall house garage.

You could fit more if you put a low roofed car on the hoist and drive another under that. They did that at the Corvette's Shop. Clammed so many 'Vettes into a building it's not funny. Well, okay it's funny.

Unless that 8 cars included raising some on hoists.

Why I like LEDs on top of other lighting tech?
LEDs = Upgrade 95% of the applications. (That is if you avoid eBay's LEDs).

LED brainwash? No, people uses them cuz they work well for them.

Now that's a garage! Are those Mass plates? Whereabouts? I'm from RI. EDIT I see you're from Gardner!

Please check out my newly-updated website! McCann Lighting Company is where my street light collection is displayed in detail.

I'm beyond jealous. You don't see that everyday in a home garage... added to that, your T12 fluorescent lit basement.
Is there a chance that maybe one of the owners of this house might've been a lighting enthusiast?
It's also good to know that this quality lighting is in good hands.

Interests
1. Motorcycles, Women, and Lighting (especially fluorescent)
2. Weighting/staying extremely athletic
3. Severe Thunderstorms of all kinds
4. Food and drinks. So gimme them bbq ribs
Yep
Lighting has been a passion of mine since I was born. I consider everyone on LG to be a friend
