Estate sale find

Estate sale find

I picked these 4 bulbs up at an estate sale today. Three work, but one of the Sylvania tubes is dead. The two Sylvania bulbs were with a vintage fixture I also found there and bought. The fixture had newer bulbs in it, so I assume these were in the fixture previously.

Nice finds! The Sylvanias are 4/72, made at the Versailles, KY plant, the Sears lamp is made by Westinghouse in the 70's in Salina, KS plant, and the Mainlighter was made in the 70's in the Jackson, MS plant.

Power provider: Southern California Edison (SCE)

-Date decoder of some US lamps 1960-present.
-Switch and receptacle collector.
-I'll save what I can! Smiley

Thanks for the info and bulb age. I thought the Sears bulb looked like Westinghouse. I went to the estate sale for the light. The bulbs were an extra find.

Actually, that GE Mainlighter was manufactured 11/81 at the Bucyrus, OH plant. Nice etch for an outside etch.

Preheat and T-12 fluorescents forever! Down with LED's and instant start T-8 fluorescents.

Those are nice - now days I collect and save any fluorescent bulbs From the 1970s and older
Even if they are burned out - In my opinion the old bulbs
Are beautiful- I enjoy saving them ,Yep even the burned out ones👍💡
