Old Incadescent Pull-Chain Fixture

Old Incadescent Pull-Chain Fixture

Click to view full size image

This is a cool fixture in the old basement of our church. It is in a Sunday school room and I am not sure whether it is still used or not, though there is a chance it still is.
It has a neat pull-chain that does not come out of a hole but the whole sleeve pulls sown and turns on/off that way. It is really easy and fluid. There are 4 of these down in the room: 3 have pull-chains and 1 that is controlled by a switch.

You might want to try a different bulb then. Or maybe the pullchain is broken off.

I am talking about the other one that has no pull-chain. Though I can look again to make sure. There are 2 that do, and 2 that don't.

You were right Ace. It does have a broken pull-chain, it was broken pretty far back in the hole too, I could not see it there. It and the other one that has a pull-chain have a different design than this one or the one in the previous picture.

I edited the info in the picture.

No wonder I was confused for a sec when I re-read the description...
