Crompton Charmlight 60W twin pack T shape bulbs

Found these on Amazon. Co.uk these 2 T shape bulbs under the name of Crompton Charmlight. Anyhow I had to get it fairly soon as there was only one left in stock. It also was packaged very well (shredded cardboard)

These T shape bulbs are indeed made in Europe according to their etches

Exactly! Them softones were the most coolest incandescents I've ever came across because of the shape and the colour shades they had

I used to buy a few of these T shaped bulbs but made by GE in the early mid 2000s when I was a small boy. http://www.lighting-gallery.net/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-110777 this is the only survivor example I've got in my collection as the few which had various colours went EOL very quickly and ended up in the bin

They are like a modern version of the mushroom lamp.

Oh indeed so, them Philips softness came out in the 80s as I saw a YT vid of an 80s advert with these bulbs that said to offer long lamp life

Ah I sympathise with you this is kinda the same thing with my 2000s softone lamps

Hopefully one day you'll find one of these softone lamps that you had in the 80s

I do hope one or more will turn up. Nothing more upsetting than losing incandescent bulbs that are vintage

I see, same thing with me really when you're younger you don't think too much about the bulbs at the time when you're young but now all to this incandescent ban, we must take great care of them

I never saw any Charmlight's here but they were listed in the 1994 Crompton catalogue, only available in 60w pink finish and according to the drawing, standard shape. Interesting how there were differences in the same lamp between countries.
