Nice!

-Date decoder of most US lamps 1960-present.

-Collects all types of lights.

I'll save any vintage lamp... dead or alive! Smiley

Cool light. I’m impressed how polished the reflector is.

May all the great lighting technologies have their place in history.

Thanks, when i got this it was FILTHY! it looked like it had been stored in a barn for a long time, I was shocked at how well the reflector, and the rest of it for that matter, cleaned up.
The reflector does have an Alzak sticker on the back. It's noticeably shinier than my other lights

BTW this also came with a Revere factory drawing dated 4/26/56 for mounting the pole base and proper installation location of the ballast within.

Wow nice! I have one of these, though the glass is broken and glued back together.

THANKS,Gee, gluing glass back together, Been there, just did that ! HATED IT!

BTW, was yours set up for 250w or 400w ? this was originally 250w so I had to fab a different socket bracket to move the socket back farther so a 400w would fit

It had a street side socket. Unsure what it held originally butba 400w lamp fits properly. I had to replace the socket though. I have to install a felt gasket as well.

if a 400w fits than that's what it originally had. Mine came with a 250w, the 400w wouldn't even fit, the socket was 3" father away from the latch! (streetside socket also)
I fabricated a new aluminum socket bracket to move the socket closer to the latch

Interesting. Mine had a bracket that looks like a triangle with a round top, same radius as the mogul socket. Bottom is a 90 degree angled piece that screws to the casting. Curved top is where the socket bolts through. It's a little outside of what I collect but it was a generous gift, so I will hold onto it. Maybe someday I can trade it for something I really like. Would love to find a Form 400 Powerpack. Just about impossible though lol. They look like some alien creature but they're just so cool looking at the same time. Those were VERY well built lights too. The ballasts are just friggin huge.

I searched the pic of your Revere and your socket bracket looks exactly like what I made. On my original bracket, the 90 degree part that attaches to the casting is 2" and points toward the slip fitter instead of being 1" and facing toward the latch

I also noticed that the design of your refractor is different than mine, Different distribution pattern maybe?

Hmm I thought your glass looked different lol. Could be distribution. Or age difference.
