Goodwill Find: Blackeye Fluorescent lantern with Blacklight

Here’s an oddball, it was $3.99 it’s presumably used for fishing. The black light is designed to be used to attract fish or something, I’m not sure. Anyways I saw this on a rollaway shelf that they brought out to add more stuff to the shelves of the store, and I found this lantern in there! Of course, I had to get it! Runs on six D batteries and also has a port for powering it with a AC adaptor or cigarette lighter for charging and/or powering the lantern.

-Date decoder of most US lamps 1960-present.

-Collects all types of lights.

This could also be a minerology,prospectors light-the filter for the UV bulb would be missing.Would be used for fluorescing minerals under SW UV light.
